Audubon
As with every business and especially in the golf industry, standing still and not evolving over time will leave your business behind. Pheasant Run has evolved itself from not just a great golf course, but also a golf course with a care for the environment and strong environmental practices. This was initially highlighted with our certification as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in January 2010. Pheasant Run was also successful in re-certifying as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 2014.

Another program that the Pheasant Run team has taken part in has also produced some environmental success and recognition within the golf industry. The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) in
conjunction with Syngenta and Golf Digest Magazine has been presenting the Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA) since 1993. In both 2011 and 2012 Pheasant Run has been presented with one of these
prestigious awards. You can read more about the awards and their judging Criteria here.
